Saturday, Oct. 16 was one Night Under The Stars to remember. Edmonson County Highschool’s Cheerleaders held their annual homecoming dance with bubbling school pride. Everyone had been anticipating the dance since the cheerleaders announced it would be taking place.  Students were dressed in all of their best formal wear and danced the night away.

Senior Gavin Minyard said, “It was honestly impressive. Also, the dance was in a good environment. What I liked about it was that it wasn't as crazy.”

The Homecoming Princesses and Queen were decided earlier that Friday. Homecoming Queen was Mckenna Woosley, who was escorted by the Homecoming King, Alex Elkins. Freshman Princess was Lilly Parsley, who was escorted by Landon Franich. Sophomore Princess was Chloe Pandolfi, who was escorted by Landon Meredith. Junior Princess was Tina Compton, who was escorted by Tyler Anderson.

Woosley said, “I wanted to make this year the best because the last few years I’ve been homeschooled. This was a great opportunity for me.”

Everybody at the homecoming dance was having an absolute blast, from dancing in unison to Cha Cha Slide and songs similar to the giant dance circle that had people showing off their moves in the center of the crowd.
