The Clash of Classes: Round 2

The Clash of Classes: Round 2

Dakota Nall, Trevor Noble, and Ashlyn Faulkner

In this month's Clash of the Classes, the Juniors took the lead with 35 points, Freshman are at 29, Sophomores have 14, and Seniors have 34 points. The games consisted of Musical chairs and variations of basketball. During the games, Jonathan Williams, Principle of Edmonson County Highschool, called for volunteers for the second round.

Unfortunately, sophomores and freshmen provided no participants. Which resulted in having an extra round just for juniors and seniors.

Nakayla Coleman, freshman and winner of musical chairs, said, “This was a fun and an exciting experience, and something I'll forever remember.”

Coleman has not only won musical chairs once, but twice. Regarding the first Clash of Classes.

Zachary Kirk, senior contributor, said ¨Clash of the Classes is a chance for us to prove to the rest of the school that we are a team on either side. It's also an opportunity for us to try our best in front of our peers, and to compete in an honorable manner. Instead of us having the mindset of doing our worst, our mindset can be increased by striving to do better.”

Jonathan Williams announced the basketball game that following night.

In the end, Williams introduced all basketball players of the school and had them line up for one big group photo.
