 Win for The Wildcats

Edmonson County Highschool, ECHS, had their first home basketball game of the year against Nelson County Highschool, NCHS, on Nov. 30th. The game was with both JV and Varsity players. Both teams’ crowds were ecstatic over each point being scored. ECHS’ bleachers were filled with many supporters and family members of the players.

Hallie Cassidy, a senior, said, “Our boys are going to put this one out tonight.¨.


With 62 points ECHS Wildcats took the win against NCHS Cardinals with 52 points.  


Trace Taylor, one of ECHS varsity players, said, ¨We will win for sure. I’m stoked and excited to play.¨

Junior Varsity, (JV), Won their game 52-26 Coach Booth said, ¨ I was nervous for our boys, being that you usually get the first game jitters. After the game, I was really proud of the way they played. I can say that I saw some of the best passing from our boys, and they played really well.¨
